Motta di Livenza (TV), 8 May 2026 – Sport, participation and community spirit marked the 4th edition of the “Multinational Run”, a non-competitive running event organized by the Multinational CIMIC Group / 7th CIMIC Regiment, with the patronage of the Municipality of Motta di Livenza and the support of Atletica Mottense. The event started from Piazza di Motta di Livenza and, for the first time, finished inside the “Mario Fiore” Barracks, home of the Multinational CIMIC Group / 7th CIMIC Regiment.
Unlike previous editions, the 2026 event was held in the evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., a choice designed to encourage wider participation among military personnel, families, international course attendees and local citizens. The response was significant, with more than 400 participants brought together by the simple pleasure of running and walking side by side.
Participants could choose between two non-competitive routes, respectively 11 and 6 kilometres long. Starting from the heart of the town gave the initiative a special symbolic value, expressing the strong bond between the Regiment, the town of Motta di Livenza and the local area that has hosted the Multinational CIMIC Group / 7th CIMIC Regiment for many years.
The finish line inside the “Mario Fiore” Barracks represented a natural meeting point between the civilian community and the military environment, in a spirit of sharing, simplicity and cohesion. Included in the MNCG Moral & Welfare programme, the “Multinational Run” confirms itself as an event capable of highlighting the multinational spirit of the Unit and promoting integration, well-being and participation through sport.
At the end of the run, participants shared a convivial moment inside the barracks, making the evening an open and well-attended occasion for interaction and further strengthening the bond between the military dimension, the multinational community and the local area.
