CIALC 01/25 BEGINS: INTERCULTURAL CIMIC TRAINING IN FULL SWING

The second week of training has begun with the CIMIC Intercultural Advanced Liaison Course (CIALC) 01/25, running from 29 September to 3 October at “Mario Fiore” Barracks in Motta di Livenza.
As the final event in MNCG’s 2025 training offer, the course brings together 32 students from five countries (Italy, Portugal, United States, Spain and the United Kingdom), representing military, civilian and humanitarian sectors. The course focuses on advanced intercultural communication, mediation, and negotiation skills, vital for CIMIC professionals operating in today’s diverse multinational environments.
A major highlight of CIALC 01/25 is the presence of guest speakers from academia, the United Nations, international NGOs and the Italian Red Cross Military Corps, enriching the experience with operational and strategic insights. The course fully aligns with the MNCG’s mission: “Headquarters Multinational CIMIC Group shall be prepared to engage in civil and military cooperation giving full support to the NATO military Commander on the field”.
Through the CIALC, MNCG confirms its leading position in advanced CIMIC education, providing the competences needed to run liaison activities in complex, multicultural operational scenarios.
