NATIONAL UNIT AND ARMED FORCES DAY CELEBRATED IN MOTTA DI LIVENZA

Broad participation of citizens at the celebrations for the 4th November anniversary.

The Municipal Administration of Motta di Livenza once again celebrated the National Unity and the Armed Forces Day, which falls on 4 November. Present on this occasion the Mayor, the Commander of the Multinational CIMIC Group, Colonel Ugo Proietto with the CSEL , the city's main authorities and the Combatant and Armed Forces Associations.

The celebrations took place on Sunday 5 November and began with Holy Mass at the Motta di Livenza Cathedral, during which the Soldier's Prayer was read. Then the authorities marched in parade through the streets of the city, accompanied by the sound of the city's Band, until they reached the War Memorial, where the flag was raised and a wreath was laid. Then the ceremony continued at the hamlets of Lorenzaga and Villanova.
