SOLAR PANELS FOR PUBLIC LIGHTING
Lebanon.
In recent weeks, Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) operators, part of the JTF-L SW CIMIC cell, have opened the completion of the works related to the new public lighting. The project aims to reduce consumption and produce clean energy; in fact the lighting is powered by solar panels. During the same event the donation of 75 waste collection bins was also made. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Mayor of Mazraat al Mushrif and part of the city council. These two projects were developed as part of the Quick Impact Projects (QIP) that the CIMIC cell carries out for the benefit of the local population.
The authorities strongly thanked the MNCG operators for their commitment and ongoing links with the Lebanese people.
