Conference on Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Operational Planning to the attendees of the 76 ̊ General Staff Course
On March 19, instructor of the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG) held a conference on Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) Operational Planning to the attendees of the 76 ̊ General Staff Course at the Maritime Military Studies Institute in Venice.
The Multinational CIMIC Group carries out joint Training & Education activities at international level, through a training program focused on the qualification of professional profiles interacting in the CIMIC environment with reference both to the civilian and military component.
The MNCG is therefore a permanent training and consulting centre as well as the national reference centre – at Defence level – for all the issues falling within the field. The MNCG is, furthermore, the custodian of the NATO Tactical and Techniques Procedures in the Civil-Military Cooperation Field. In this capacity, the Multinational CIMIC Group, periodically, sends a Mobile Training Team for training activities “on Wheels” in several countries such as Lebanon, Turkey, Ukraine and Iraq.
