The NATO CIMIC Field/Staff Worker Course 01/26 has concluded at the Multinational CIMIC Group, Caserma “Mario Fiore”, in Motta di Livenza. Conducted from 18 to 29 May 2026 by MNCG HQ CJ7 – Education Section, the course was aimed at military and civilian personnel involved in Civil-Military Cooperation and Civil-Military Interaction activities in the NATO framework. Over the two-week training period, participants attended theoretical lesson sand practical exercises focused on NATO CIMIC doctrine, negotiation techniques, reporting procedures and the application of CIMIC and CMI activities across the full spectrum of military engagement, from CIMIC Unit level up to Corps level. The practical phase included realistic simulated scenarios and the use of live role players. This allowed participants to apply the procedures and concepts covered during the course in situations connected to the civil environment and to the interaction with civil actors, within the framework of a NATO Article 5 operation. The NATO CIMIC Field/Staff Worker Course 01/26 contributed to the development of qualified personnel able to support commanders and staffs through the understanding of the civil environment, the conduct of CIMIC activities and the effective use of reporting procedures in a modern operational context.
