This Privacy Policy applies to the public website and to the processing carried out through the website for browsing, technical security, first-party aggregated analytics and newsletter subscription.

Restricted-area accounts, activity/course registrations, access procedures and paper-based disclaimers may be governed by separate information notices or internal procedures, where applicable.

3. Categories of personal data processed

This website may process the following categories of data:

  • Technical browsing data: data technically necessary to deliver the website, ensure security and maintain the service.
  • Newsletter data: first name, last name and email address, where the user subscribes to the newsletter.
  • Aggregated analytics data: page/post ID, calendar date and total visit count collected by the MNCG Analytics plugin.
  • Voluntarily submitted data: any data sent by the user through email or public contact channels, where enabled.

The MNCG Analytics plugin does not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, user IDs, visitor IDs, advertising identifiers or third-party tracking identifiers.

4. Purposes and legal bases

First-party aggregated analytics for internal performance, security and content monitoring. Legitimate interest in operating and improving the website, with data minimisation and no profiling.
Newsletter subscription and delivery, using first name, last name and email address. Consent of the user. The user may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting the controller.
Handling of voluntary contact requests sent by email or public contact channels, where enabled. Pre-contractual/contractual necessity, legitimate interest or legal obligation, depending on the request.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The website uses technical cookies and similar technologies necessary for operation, security and display of the privacy/analytics notice. The MNCG Analytics plugin sets the technical cookie mncg_notice_seen only to remember that the privacy/analytics notice has already been shown.

The plugin does not use profiling cookies, advertising cookies, marketing cookies or third-party analytics trackers. See the Cookie Policy for details.

6. Recipients and processors

Personal data may be processed by authorised personnel and by technical service providers supporting hosting, website maintenance, IT security, email delivery, newsletter management or other services strictly connected to the purposes above.

Data are not sold and are not used for commercial profiling.

7. Retention

Technical data are retained only for the time necessary to ensure website operation, security and maintenance, unless longer retention is required to investigate incidents or comply with legal obligations.

Newsletter subscription data, consisting of first name, last name and email address, are retained until the user withdraws consent, unsubscribes from the newsletter or requests deletion, unless further retention is required to comply with legal obligations or to document the handling of the request.

Aggregated MNCG Analytics rows are retained for up to 180 days and then deleted automatically.

8. Rights of data subjects

Where the GDPR applies, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, portability where applicable, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

9. Complaints

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

10. International transfers

If personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, the controller will apply the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms, where applicable.

11. Automated decision-making and profiling

The processing described in this Privacy Policy does not involve automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects. The MNCG Analytics plugin does not perform profiling.
